FBAR Tracker is built so that your data stays with you. This page explains, in plain language, what the app does and does not do with your information.
Nothing is sent to us. Everything you enter in FBAR Tracker is stored locally on your device. We do not run user accounts, we do not have a server that receives your entries, and we do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
FBAR Tracker can send local reminders that you set up. These are scheduled on your device; no notification service of ours is involved.
Optional paid features are sold through Apple's App Store or Google Play — depending on the app, as a one-time purchase or a subscription. Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google; we never see your card details or your Apple/Google account. The app asks the store on your device whether you own the purchase in order to unlock the features you paid for; nothing about the purchase is sent to us.
To convert currencies the app downloads a public table of exchange rates from a third-party provider (ExchangeRate-API, exchangerate-api.com). The request contains no data about you — not your balances, not your accounts, not even which currencies you use; it only asks for the current rates against the US dollar. The provider sees the standard technical information any web request carries (such as your IP address).
Your data lives only on your device. Deleting the app deletes all of its data. Device backups (iCloud, Google) may include app data according to your own backup settings.
FBAR Tracker is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
If the app ever starts collecting data in a new way (for example adding crash reporting), this page will be updated first and the date above will change.
